It is in the poker room where the attention of the region's top grinders is fixated between Jan. 23 and Jan. 29, when the PokerStars Festival London runs. As you can see in the table above, PokerStars is hosting a trio of casino game tournaments under the StarsFun banner, which will take place in Lola's Underground Casino inside the Hippodrome Casino.
There will also be cash games running throughout the festival, either £1/£3 no-limit hold'em with a £150 minimum sit down and a £1,000 maximum or £2/£5 no-limit hold'em Deep Stack with a £500 minimum buy-in and no maximum.

Hippodrome Announces New PokerStars London Series
The Hippodrome used to host the popular UKIPT Series and Hippodrome Classics in its prime West End location, but these are being replaced by the PokerStars London Series.
There will be five such series throughout 2017, each with a £275 buy-in, with the first event scheduled for March 3-5. Each of the £275 buy in PokerStars London Series events see players sit down with 25,000 chips and play to 30-minute levels on Day 1 and 40-minute levels on Day 2.

Players can reenter once during each of the opening flights during the six-level late-registration window, provided there is space available.
Each opening flight plays down to just 15% of the field, at which point all players bagging chips will already be in the money. The surviving players will battle it out for two more days on Oct. 26-27, where the winner will not only walk away with the lion's share of the prize pool and the trophy but also a coveted Platinum Pass.
